Biographies
Ron McCullough, CEO and Chief Instructor
Ron began training with firearms when he entered the U.S. Marine Corps in 1982, and was awarded the 'expert' badge for Marines several times. He was assigned to Marine Barracks, Puerto Rico, Weapons Company 1/5 at Camp Pendleton, CA and Weapons Company 3/3 in Kaneohe, HI. He began working for Brinks, Inc. in 1988 as a vault teller before starting as a 1st Line Technician for the ATM Dept. He went on to become an ATM Supervisor and Manager at Brinks before pursuing his educational goals.
Other related supervisory and managerial experiences in the ATM and armored industries include becoming a Branch Manager for Garda (formerly AT Systems), Fastline Supervisor for Diebold, Inc., and working as an Independent Contractor for Pendum, LLC (formerly Bankek/Premium Armored).
As a member of the Brink's Pistol Team, he was selected to be a Firearms Instructor to teach courses in handguns and shotguns in the mid 90's. During that time, he was also selected to attend training and a national competition match by the U.S. Secret Service at their facility near Washington, D.C.
In 2008, he became a Certified Instructor through the NRA, and brings his knowledge and expertise to every class. He obtained his M.A. in Communication from Purdue in 2003, and also teaches college courses online and in the classroom. He loves to travel and take cruises with his beautiful wife Victoria, and is always looking for opportunities to teach or train.
